summer project planning

 1) What is the unique selling point of the product?

the unique selling point this product is that it is only natural fruit and is good for you

2) What audience do you think this is aimed at? Add as much detail as possible (e.g. demographics, psychographics) and explain why.

the target audience would be about 15-30 year olds and people living a healthy life style

3) What do you notice about the technical construction of the advert? Pick out one thing you like about the advert from camerawork, editing, sound or mise-en-scene.

in the second innocent advert they have a stop motion theme and in particular the lush greenery around the product to provide that natural and healthy image to the product

4) What representations can you find in the advert? This may be representations of people or groups or perhaps the brand itself.

the band has portrayed it self as a completely healthy and socially friendly.

Lucozade

1) What is the unique selling point of the product?
gives energy for sports events. urban vide to the drink

2) What audience do you think this is aimed at? Add as much detail as possible (e.g. demographics, psychographics) and explain why.

the adverts are aimed at an urban audience.

3) What do you notice about the technical construction of the advert? Pick out one thing you like about the advert from camerawork, editing, sound or mise-en-scene.

I like that the adverts feature a urban setting which is more familiar with people along with more diverse audiences.

4) What representations can you find in the advert? This may be representations of people or groups or perhaps the brand itself.

there is a diverse audience and the Lucozade brand advertises to a more middle class audience

1) What brand of health drink are you going to use? You can use an existing drink.
i plan on using innocent drinks in both of my adverts

2) New slogan for the health drink (MUST be original - cannot be existing slogan):

3) Main character(s) that will appear in your adverts:
runner, coach,

4) Narrative: What will happen in your first advert?
there will be a runner getting ready for a run. he is quite nervous for it - starting gun fire pan up upwards to the birds flying out of the trees then we cut to the runner sitting with his coach having a drink of the product- voice over says the slogan.

5) Narrative: What will happen in your second advert?
in the second advert I will have an over head/ birds eyes montage of the main character going through multiple shops looking for 'the right drink' until he gives up and sits on a park bench and someone offers him the product.

6) Where will you film your adverts? You need a different location for each advert.

7) Who will be in your adverts?

8) What music will you use for your adverts? What voiceover will you use and who will you use to record the voiceover? Note: for music you can use existing music tracks.

9) How will your adverts appeal to your 15-30 year old target audience?
I will state the health benefits in the voice over which will attract older people who care for their health.

10) What TV channel and programme would your advert appear during and why? Remember the brief states a mainstream TV channel or streaming service.

3) Statement of Intent

On the same Summer Project blogpost, write the rough first draft of your genuine 300-word statement of intent

I plan on making a two 40 second adverts one of them will be about a man who is searching for 'the right drink' that will rehydrate them after looking through the first shop there will be a montage of the man looking through all the shops on the street. this will be taken from a birds eye view/ over head. the sound track will fit an overall negative tone. this character will be dressed in casual clothing ( jeans and t-shirt ).

half way during the advert my character will give up and in a tiered fashion will sit on a park bench and be offered the product by a stranger whilst this happens there will be dialogue: "what's this?" once my character consumes the product he will be filled with energy and the voice over will state "innocent drinks boost energy and boost health and fitness...guilty of innocence" this will be said during the final seconds of the advert along with the product name and pack shot. half way through the advert there will be close ups of the product.

in the other advert I plan to make it 40 seconds. in the advert there will be a quick montage of a runner getting ready for his race with a up beat sound track and towards half way the coach introduces the product to the athlete and straight away he notices benefits such as increased speed and recovery as well as his nervousness going away.
towards the end of the advert the athlete has to run his race and the he gets into stance and after a short close up shot and the sound track completely stops and there is silence until is it broken with the sound of gun fire. the camera cuts to the sky and then cuts to the end of the race when the athlete is relaxing with the coach with the product in his hand. there will be a close up shots and a pack shot of the product. in the final seconds of the advert the voice over will play saying the product name as well as the slogan.
