OFCOM will take complaints and investigate. if the broadcaster in question is breaking the rules then OFCOM can register a fine or even take away their licence to broadcast.

6) How do Doctor Who and His Dark Materials help the BBC to meet the BBC's remit to inform, educate and entertain? Answer this question in at least 150 words.

first doctor who does fulfil both educate and entertain. for example in the first episode of doctor who  they talk about topics such as the space race and in later episodes they talk about topics such as Rosa parks and for entertainment it is obviously a science fiction show and has its moments.

for  His Dark Materials I would say that it mostly fulfils  entertainment more than the other two mostly for the same reason as doctor who.
