it is separated into episodes and seasons, it has several main characters and the setting is very distinct.

2) What genre (or genres) are suggested by this His Dark Materials trailer?

fantasie , drama and sci-fi 

3) What kind of characters and narratives are introduced in this trailer?

from the trailer we can see that they are trying to introduce a plot where people from "different worlds" have to come along along and face the big bad but from the trailer we can see clear drama between the characters.

4) What settings appear in the trailer?

 we can see in the trailer a almost church like setting but for the majority we can see a theme of dark and broken places.

5) Who do you think the target audience for His Dark Materials is? Give reasons for your answer.

in my opinion the target audience would be teenagers. I say this because the man cast of characters look mostly in their teens,this would make the show more appealing to teenagers.
