the cover line have appeal because they target points of interest for their majority female audience. such as fashion and love. on top of this the cover lines act as teasers of stories, this draws the readers attention using their own curiosity.

3) What are the connotations of the Tatler colour scheme on this particular front cover?

the colour scheme is green, black, pink.

green has connections of nature seeing how this magazine was produced during COVID-19  majority of people didn't go outside of their houses much certainly the green colour adds a level of freshness to  the magazine. pink is traditionally a more feminine colour and they have chosen this to appeal more to their female audience. also pink contrasts green quite a lot, whilst this may not be a note worthy point but the contrast of green and pink can attract the readers attention more.

4) How is the central image designed to create interest in the magazine? Find three reasons for your answer. (E.g. the model, the mise-en-scene such as props, costume and make-up, body position, facial expression etc.)
